Simulation

The tail feather skins of the simulation are taken from photos of the real glider.

I just slapped pink color over the pics before adding them to the simulation.

I've always thought that someone would come up with a more detailed model.

But that never happened. So here is what I have put together back then in 2002.

The above FlightGear flight simulator model for the BUG2 is here:

Right-click "Save As" and download the .tgz archive to your local hard drive.

Then extract with winzip into your Aircraft folder.

For windows users this will be located in C:\Program Files\FlightGear\data\Aircraft

My linux box has them in /usr/local/share/FlightGear/Aircraft

For linux users a "Bug2" startup script is included.
