Rehberg "Mountain"

In the beginning it was real fun to go out there on the field and play. Sit there, smell the grass and feel the breeze.

Those were the good days, quiet and relaxing.

Back in 2001, my longest flight ever. Nearly two minutes on a 50m grass hill. 20m over the top. Recorded with an instrument that captures height and climb rate. I framed the variometer plot in "gold".

What a thrill.
